New Leaf Fiber

New Leaf Fiber is based near Faribault, Minnesota and raises Gotland sheep, originally from the small Swedish island of Gotland. Annika Frederickson’s fibercraft journey started in Sweden’s strong craft culture, where she has lived, has family, and learned to knit.

Annika is fascinated by color, and inspired by the growth, change, and seasonal cycles, and hope that are often represented by “a new leaf”.

Future plans include offering classes in fiber prep and spinning, as well as direct sales at shows and markets, as well as online. Available items may include meat, sheepskins, raw fleece, batting, handspun yarn, handwoven products, and felted items.
